Okay. I'm not entirely sure if this is the place to put this, but.

So Ed's working on her hacking skillz, right?

For her next few posts, she'll be "practicing." Anyone she talks to is vulnerable, sort of. Since she doesn't quite have the hang of things yet, she's mostly keeping a constant eye on the second level, as well as purposely and accidentally hacking information.

So basically this is a sort of permission post. It's bad form and unsportsmanlike for me to hack people without permission, and while I'm completely aware that things can change based on context, it'd be nice to have a basic list, at least for now.

This is also a potential Edward plotty post, I guess? If you want to have some sort of hackery type plot with Edward, let me know please. Also, hacking is probably how Ed will make her money, though she hardly pays attention to monetary needs and mostly bums off of other people. So if anyone wants to hire her when she gets better at hacking, keep that in mind? I dunno.

Um. So. Who is she allowed to hack and how much, and does anyone want to plot? That's basically what it boils down to.

Yuffie awaits with greatest patience... for somebody like Yuffie, anyway, which means he's hopping around like he's got ants in his pants and mumbling the lyrics to classic 80's rock ballads.

Not in specific, but I can say that if Yuffie gets haxxored, he's likely to prank in retaliation. And if you thought all your furniture on the roof was bad... Yuffie would totally add superglue, a Thunder materia, and thumbtacks. Otherwise, I think he and Ed would get along pretty well. He's got a good sense of non sequitur.

Well now that Ed's figured out the system (basically), she's going to be doing a lot of accidental hacks, I think, as she's trying to sort out which part is the second level that everyone else sees and which is the second level that she can see in addition to that. So if she haxxors Yuffie, it may very well be by accident at first, especially since they don't know each other yet.

In that case, Yuffie might not even know he's been hacked, which means no retaliation. But if she were to mention anything she'd found out about his personal history (all of which is fair game), like the lightswitch was up, it would be ON.
