[Ed's thinking again, but this time she's got a big pad of paper and lots of crayons. Don't ask where she got them. As she thinks, she's sort of mumbling to herself and doodling large colorful shapes.

The mumbling and the doodles don't look like they have anything to do with each other, but knowing Ed, they probably do.]

Lots of little threads all connect together in one big knot, but you can't get to the center without a pair of scissors or a lot of time and patience.

Once upon a time there was a little boy so lost and scared he shut himself away from everything and died.

The queen will sacrifice herself for the king but why? The rooks and pawns have no power and no choice but the queen holds all the power but when she dies the game continues.

Fire destroyed the witch, but what did it do to Gretel?

Worms and knives and walls of all shapes and sizes protecting secrets and lies and...

...names.

Willfully enslaved my family to humans, for one... then turned it around and attempted to use it for his own purposes! We were all quite happy to be dead and free! [Throws the crayon remains away in anger.]

[Frowns. Huh.]

...what... purposes?

[Rolls her eyes mightily, though not at Ed.] Sometimes humans are just asking for it. You don't meddle in powers you will never understand, but yet he persists..!

[okay okay we're getting somewhere, but Ed wants specifics. How to get them without pressing too hard...]

What was he trying to do?

I don't even know why he's apparently so fascinated with me! I wasn't even involved during that whole thing! Her brother... [And she goes from lip-curling to snarling.]

Who?

My host's insipid brother... oh, he tried to be useful but he failed! If he hadn't been so useless, perhaps things wouldn't have turned out this way and we'd be dead again!

[...tries again. It's hard to get what you want from a ranter.]

What happened?

Who cares, he's probably dead anyway. He deserved it. Why he isn't dead is beyond me. Where did he even come from? Should have burned to death in the fire, in my opinion.

[OH HAY PING.]

Fire?

[Whispers. Still audible, though.]

Banshoya.

[She snaps, leaping to her feet, ripping papers and probably stepping on crayons as she suddenly switches tracks to TIME FOR DEATH. She looms over Ed, growling slightly.] Where did you hear that name!

[OHSHI- cowers back a little since SCARY SURPRISE DO NOT WANT]

Heard it! In... Kaz... hacked him. Saw it!

[OH REALLY then let's see. Modulates loudly for a moment, as if whistling the data up to the front, before poking for it.]

... I see. A word to the wise. It would be best to not get involved. It will be... messy. We will not pull punches for human casualties.

[eeeeeeeeeeeeeeh doesn't try to stop but she really doesn't like it when that happens. After Tav leaves, she seals everything up tightly. Just because. She looks seriously back at Tav.]

Wasn't expecting you to. [Shrugs.] We'll see what happens.

Just ask the female Haseo about the price of being involved. I'm sure she'll rant on about it in detail. After all, we're the villains to everyone else.

[Looks up at Tav.]

Only a few people are really truly villains. Everyone has their reasons.

Sometimes I wonder if there's hope for your pathetic race. Some days some people seem to stand out. It's rarely longterm, but it's rather surprising nonetheless.

[Just smiles.]

[Grabs one of the crayons that survived the earlier outburst and scribbles something down on a scrap of paper.]

[Leeeeeans, trying to look. BUT SHE'S BEING SUBTLE ABOUT IT.

...okay, not really. XD]

[Looks like a couple of symbols. Something like this: 天城]

[Frowns a little and goes back to sitting upright. Can't read it. :(]

[After a moment she scratches it out and then stands up.] You have your warning. The rest is all up to you, now.

[Tilts head. Nods.]

Thank you.

[Drops with little fanfare.]
