[Not that the door was locked anyway. Ed doesn't care about these things. If people steal stuff from her, she'll steal something to replace it. No big deal.]
[Oh, he guessed that. The humming stops as he looks around for a bed...somewhere in the assumed clutter-y madness that is Ed's room. Aha! Something mostly flat and soft looking! Success! He puts her down, trying not to hit her head on anything.]
[Mmmmm bed. It's nice to be unconscious on something more comfortable than snow-covered steps. And hey, maybe the warmth will help her to wake up faster...]
[Of course. Anything beats the cold. Until she wakes up, he'll just be over here in his corner of woe. Well, until he remembers something very, very important, and his eyes go wide. He nearly falls off the chair, too.]
Lithuania! He'd better still be there...
[He takes a breath, and starts rummaging through his coat for more vodka. Okay, he'll wait for her to wake up for a little while, but if anyone asks, it's because it's warmer in here than outside.]
[Fast forward half an hour to an hour and Ed's starting to wake up, slowly. Her eyes are starting to flutter open, anyway, and she's making a few quiet "time to wake up now" noises.
When she realizes she's in her bed, she sits up, confused.]
[Did she... oh yeah. Okay, so, not a dream. But how did she get back... aaaugh thinking hurts too much. And now she remembers everything... and that hurts too, but in a different way.]
Nooooo. Nobody. Nobody.
[She's angry and sad and confused and ow headache... not a good moment. rawr.]
[He's actually...really shocked to hear that, and sits in his corner of woe. He puffs out a lock of hair or three with a breath. It's fairly dark in here, so hopefully she won't notice that he's shaking a little.]
They...they can't be gone. No, no they can't. They just picked a better hiding spot. That's all. It's got to be that way.
[She stifles back a sob and instead punches the wall. Hard. OW. Now her head AND her hand hurt. Smart move, Edward. But still. She's mad and sad and... rawrg.]
